How it started

Just before the Lockdown, I was talking to my neighbour Mike who is 92 years old and in just chatting to him he told me many beautiful stories about his childhood and his growing up in the 1930s and during WW2.
This got me thinking about a way we could preserve these personal pieces of history using modern technology to record them on video for now and future generations.
The process is very simple and involves using the minimum of equipment- just two small cameras. Weather permitting, we can do it outside or in a garden.
If it is not so fine we can do it inside with two small lights.
I would arrive to set up and test the equipment one hour before our chat and we would discuss different aspects of your life.
The session should last approximately three hours, it normally is done in one session.
The way the conversation is conducted is in the same relaxed, informal and easy way I was chatting with Mike – just as though you were talking to your next-door neighbour.
It will be a very pleasant experience.
